Xolo acts as an intermediary between your company and your contractors. Xolo OÜ, located in Estonia, will be your transacting party, which means that the invoice generated will be from Xolo Teams OÜ and bear a valid EU VAT number. According to the VAT rules the following scenarios are possible:
- If your company has a valid EU VAT number, then a reverse charge mechanism can be applied and 0% VAT will be added to the invoice.
- If your company is registered outside the EU, then no VAT applies.
- If your company is registered in the EU, but the company does not have a valid EU VAT number, then the default Estonian 22% VAT (20% until 31.12.2023) will be added to the invoice.
