How is such a quick procedure possible?

We are part of the network of PAEs of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism. This allows us to process the registrations of both Hacienda and Social Security at the same time, quickly, and without having to go in-person or use your Certificado Digital (digital certificate).

Compliant and reliable

When registering as autónomo with Hacienda, you must specify the activity you will carry out using the epigraphs of the Economic Activities Tax (IAE). It is a confusing process, so we will advise you and help you choose the one that best corresponds to your professional activity, so that the corresponding taxes are then applied to your invoices. This way you will avoid errors and penalties from Hacienda.

If you want to use Xolo to manage your freelance activity, you must be registered as an autónomo. That means registering as an individual business owner with the Spanish Treasury, Hacienda (form 036) and in the General Regime of Self-Employed Workers (RETA) in the Social Security.

At Xolo we can help you register completely free of charge as long as you don't cancel your subscription within the first 6 months.

If you have not been registered with the local authorities yet, the process of registering as a professional starts once you have submitted a short summary of your business and personal details during the Xolo onboarding process and indicated that you would like to register with the local authorities. We’ll take care of your registration with the Spanish Treasury (Hacienda) and Social Security in one business day, and you'll receive confirmation from Xolo once the process has been completed.

At Xolo, you're charged on the day you subscribe and then on the first day of each month. For example, if you subscribe on October 20th, your first payment is on October 20th and then on November 1st.
