No, you can start the signup process to any of our plans without e-Residency.
For the Go plan, e-Residency is not needed and you can start invoicing without registering a company.
For the Leap, Leap Pro and Growth plans, e-Residency becomes necessary once you have gone through the onboarding process and we are ready to register your business. Applying for e-Residency is straightforward but it might take 6-8 weeks to receive your e-Residency card. Learn more about e-Residency here.
Yes, you can change the plan whenever you’d like to and you can also use the Go plan in parallel to the Leap, Leap Pro and Growth plan.
If you’d like to start invoicing right away but you’re still waiting for your e-Residency card for the Leap plan, for instance, you can create both accounts, start using Go immediately and then continue with Leap once you’ve received your card.
However, if you are a client of Leap, Leap Pro or Growth, you own your Estonian company and are responsible for it as a shareholder and a board member. Therefore, you will continue carrying those duties until you close down the company.
Please also note that as long as you're a Xolo Leap customer, you'll be responsible for paying Xolo Leap monthly fee according to your price plan.
If you want to close your Xolo Go account, then all you have to do is inform us about your wish in an email.
If you’d like to close down your Leap, Leap Pro or Growth company, keep in mind that there is a 8-10 month liquidation process involved. Xolo assists you in the process but the price of liquidation is not included in our monthly fee. Find out more about closing your company in our FAQ.
