Xolo works for freelancers who are already self-employed or who want to register as self-employed and meet the following criteria:
- People who live in Spain, or plan to live in Spain, and want to register as self-employed. Even if you haven’t spent more than 183 days in Spain yet, you can still register as a freelancer. In this case, you may need to declare your taxes as a non-resident during the first year, and Xolo can assist with this as well (e.g., filing Modelo 210).
Exception: if you qualify for the special expat tax regime (Beckham Law), let us know and we’ll guide you accordingly.
- Individuals who do not live in Ceuta, Melilla, the Basque Country, or Navarre.
- Professionals in categories of the Tax on Economic Activities (IAE) that are subject to the simplified direct estimation regime.
- Who do not have employees.
- Who do not have a shop or other establishment open to the public. (If you sell goods)
