Xolo is the first fully digital accounting service designed to reduce the time freelancers spend on administrative tasks and paperwork through technology. Xolo has built an online solution for invoicing, expense management, accounting, and tax filing that combines artificial intelligence, machine learning, and open banking to automate processes that traditional accounting firms still handle manually. In addition, Xolo has a team of tax and accounting experts specialised in freelancers, who support users at every step and answer questions quickly through easily accessible channels.

Founded in Estonia in 2015, Xolo currently serves more than 75,000 freelancers across 200 countries. With the launch of a service fully adapted to the Spanish legal and tax framework, Xolo is taking the first step in its plan to become the preferred business management solution for freelancers across Europe.

Since its creation, the company has raised €11.1 million and counts investors such as Karma Ventures, Vendep Capital, Taavet Hinrikus (co-founder of Wise), and Jaan Tallinn (co-founder of Skype). Xolo’s team consists of around 90 employees working between its headquarters in Tallinn (Estonia), as well as offices in Helsinki and Berlin. As part of its launch in Spain, Xolo will hire a team of 10 people and open a new office in Barcelona in the coming months.
